    Feasibility & tariff modelling

    Half-hourly consumption analysis, tariff review, DUoS / Triad and capacity-market modelling to size the BESS around a real business case and payback.

  2. 02

    Design, DNO & planning

    Full electrical, containment and civils design, G99 (import & export) or G100 application, structural / fire-safety sign-off and planning consents where needed.

  3. 03

    Install & commission

    Foundations, container / cabinet BESS, PCS, transformers, LV/HV switchgear and metering — installed by our own crews and commissioned with witness testing.

  4. 04

    Handover, monitoring & O&M

    Optimiser / EMS configuration, live SoC and revenue monitoring, planned O&M visits, warranty management and 24/7 fault response.

How big a battery can you install?

From ~50 kWh cabinet BESS for a workshop or office through to multi-megawatt-hour containerised systems on industrial estates. We regularly deliver 250 kWh–5 MWh projects and coordinate HV connections for larger sites.

Do I need planning permission or landlord consent?

Cabinet BESS often falls under permitted development, but larger container systems, restricted sites and any HV connection usually need planning and formal landlord consent. We handle applications, fire strategy and consultee engagement as part of the package.

What's the typical payback?

Peak-shaving and tariff-arbitrage systems typically pay back in 4–7 years; grid-services and solar+storage projects can be quicker depending on route-to-market. We model your half-hourly data and tariff before quoting to give a realistic figure.

Do you handle the DNO application?

Yes — G99 import & export applications and G100 export-limited schemes are submitted and managed on your behalf, along with witness testing, commissioning paperwork and any HV / DNO liaison.

How do you handle battery fire safety?

We follow NFPA 855, IEC 62933 and the current UK BESS fire-safety guidance — separation distances, deflagration venting, gas / smoke detection and suppression, along with a site-specific fire strategy signed off before energisation.

Can it be added to existing solar PV?

Yes. We retrofit AC-coupled BESS to existing solar arrays and can DC-couple on new-build projects — with EMS integration so PV, storage and site load work as one system.

Do you cover the whole UK?

Yes — we deliver commercial and industrial BESS projects UK-wide with our own installation crews and specialist civils, HV and fire-safety partners.
