From route walk to certified handover — planned, calculated and documented before a drum ever leaves the yard.

Site survey & route walk
We walk the cable route, confirm containment capacity, bend radii, pulling points, risers and access, and flag any live-working or permit constraints.
- 02
Method statement & RAMS
Cable schedule, drum plan, winch positions, tension and sidewall pressure calcs, lubricant selection and a full RAMS pack issued before mobilisation.
- 03
Pull, gland & terminate
Powered winches with load-cell monitoring, drum jacks, rollers and lubrication. Cables glanded, terminated and labelled to the schedule as we go.
- 04
Test, certify & hand over
Continuity, insulation resistance and phase-rotation testing. As-built cable schedule, test results and photos issued with the O&M pack.

Cable pulling, answered
What cable sizes and types can you pull?
Everything from small submains and control cables up to large multi-core LV feeders and HV cables to 33 kV, plus fibre backbones and structured data cabling. We size winches, rollers and lubrication to the cable manufacturer's maximum pulling tension and sidewall pressure.
Do you work on live and operational sites?
Yes. A large share of our pulls are on occupied warehouses, factories, data centres and offices. We plan around production, offer night and weekend shifts, and provide full RAMS, permits and CDM documentation.
Can you supply the cable, containment and terminations?
Yes — we can price supply-and-install for cable, glands, lugs, tray, basket, ladder and duct, or pull free-issue cable if you already have it on site. Either way you get one accountable contractor from drum to termination.
What testing and paperwork do we get?
Continuity, insulation resistance, polarity and phase-rotation results, plus BS 7671 test certificates where applicable. You'll receive an as-built cable schedule, test sheets, photos and a full O&M pack at handover.
Do you cover the whole UK?
Yes. We mobilise UK-wide for cable pulling packages — from single riser pulls to multi-week industrial installations — with our own vans, winches, drum jacks and rigging kit.
How quickly can you mobilise?
For urgent works we can typically survey within 48 hours and mobilise a crew within 5–10 working days, subject to programme, access and materials lead time.
