Cat6 comfortably supports 1 Gbps to 55 m and short 10 Gbps runs. Cat6a supports full 10 Gbps to 100 m and is the safer long-term spec for new offices, WAPs and PoE++ devices. We usually recommend Cat6a on greenfield installs and Cat6 for tightly-budgeted refreshes.
Yes — OM4 multimode and OS2 singlemode backbones between floors, buildings and comms rooms, plus fibre-to-the-desk where the design calls for it. All splices are fusion-spliced and OTDR-tested.
Every copper port is Fluke DSX channel or permanent-link tested and every fibre run has OTDR and insertion-loss results. Where required we register the install for a 25-year manufacturer performance warranty from partners such as Excel, Panduit or Commscope.
Yes — most of our data work is in live offices, warehouses and industrial sites. We plan noisy / ceiling work with the tenant or building manager and run out-of-hours where required to protect operations.
