Floating pontoon arrays
HDPE floating platforms engineered for reservoirs, quarry lakes, mine pits, wastewater lagoons and settling ponds — sized from 250 kWp to multi-MW.
Turnkey commercial and industrial floating solar — pontoon design, mooring, LV/HV connection and G99 grid applications delivered end-to-end, from 250 kWp to multi-MW.

From bathymetric survey and mooring design through to G99 grid connection and 25-year O&M — one accountable team.
HDPE floating platforms engineered for reservoirs, quarry lakes, mine pits, wastewater lagoons and settling ponds — sized from 250 kWp to multi-MW.
Site-specific mooring design for varying water levels, wind loading and ice risk — bank, bed or dead-weight anchoring with corrosion-resistant hardware.
Full LV/HV grid connection design and delivery — string inverters or central inverters, transformer packages and G99 DNO applications and witness testing.
EA / SEPA / NRW consenting, ecological assessment and water-quality protection — with construction methods that preserve aquatic habitats and water usage.
String-level monitoring, weather stations, alarm dashboards and remote diagnostics — with clear performance-ratio reporting against modelled yield.
Scheduled cleaning, mooring inspections, inverter servicing, string testing and 24/7 alarm response — keeping yield high across the 25-year design life.
Water-body survey, consents, on-water build and long-term O&M — a single accountable delivery partner.
Bathymetric survey, water-level range, wind fetch and shading analysis — combined with irradiance modelling to size the array and forecast annual yield accurately.
Pontoon layout, mooring design, cable routing, environmental / EA permits and G99 / DNO connection applications — all handled by our in-house design team.
On-shore panel assembly, floating pontoon deployment, anchor and mooring installation, submarine / floating cabling, inverter commissioning and G99 witness testing.
Full test certification, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, monitoring portal handover and long-term operations & maintenance contract — cleaning, mooring inspections and performance monitoring.
Floating solar unlocks generation on unused water bodies — reservoirs, quarry lakes, mine pits and wastewater lagoons — without taking up land that has another use. Water-side cooling typically lifts yield by 5–10% versus equivalent ground-mount, and shading the water reduces evaporation and algal growth.
Commercial and industrial arrays from around 250 kWp on private reservoirs up to multi-MW schemes on utility water bodies and disused quarries. Below 250 kWp the floating balance-of-plant usually isn't cost-effective versus rooftop or ground-mount.
Man-made reservoirs, disused quarry lakes, mine pits, wastewater lagoons, settling ponds and irrigation reservoirs are ideal. We avoid ecologically sensitive natural lakes, tidal water and locations with high commercial navigation or ice loading.
Mooring is designed for site-specific wind fetch, wave height and vertical water-level range — with either bank-anchored, bed-anchored or dead-weight mooring, sized for the worst-case load case at each site.
Yes — we lead all environmental consenting, ecological assessment and licencing with the Environment Agency, SEPA or Natural Resources Wales, plus any water-abstraction, reservoir-safety or discharge permits the site holds.
25-year panel warranty, 12–15 year pontoon design life with staged refurbishment, 10-year inverter cover and modelled performance ratios of 78–83% depending on site. Water-cooling typically holds cell temperatures 3–8°C lower than ground-mount.
Yes — floating solar is delivered UK-wide, with survey, design and commissioning from our directly-employed team and vetted marine and civils partners for on-water works.
