FAQs

Labour only, answered

Do you supply crews for main contractors and other electrical firms?

Yes — labour-only is aimed at main contractors, M&E contractors and other electrical firms who need extra skilled hands on programme-critical works. You supply the drawings, materials and site supervision; we supply carded, vetted electricians and mates on a day-rate or price-work basis.

What cards and qualifications do your operatives hold?

All electricians hold ECS Gold Card / JIB Approved Electrician status and 18th Edition. Cable pullers and mates hold ECS Labourer or CSCS as a minimum. Testers hold City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent. IPAF, PASMA, SSSTS, SMSTS and confined-space tickets available on request.

Day rate or price-work?

Both — day rate is our default for short packages and unknown scope. For repeatable installs (containment metres, points, luminaire counts) we're happy to price-work, which usually gives you a better outturn cost and predictable programme.

Who provides RAMS and site H&S paperwork?

You do — as Principal Contractor you own the RAMS, permits and site rules. Our operatives review and sign your RAMS before starting, hold their own cards and PPE, and are covered under our £2m public liability while on your site.

How quickly can you mobilise?

For UK-wide short-notice cover we can usually mobilise 1–4 operatives within 48–72 hours. Larger crews (6+) and specialist tickets typically need 1–2 weeks' lead time so we can hold the right people against your programme.

Can you supply crews outside working hours?

Yes — weekend, night-shift and shutdown labour is a core part of our labour-only offer. Uplifted rates apply in line with JIB working-rule agreements; quoted in writing before mobilisation.

Do you cover the whole UK?

Yes — we supply labour-only crews UK-wide, with directly-employed operatives and vetted regional partners. Travel, accommodation and subsistence are quoted transparently upfront where the site is outside a normal commute.
